June Jam is a weekend for lindy hoppers to grow their skills and get their dance on in Minneapolis, MN. This year's June Jam is focused on Following and on Solo Jazz.
There will be 2 tracks (Intermediate-Advanced, and Advanced), with 8 hours of workshops (1/2 solo and 1/2 partnered with a focus on the followers). There will also be 3 dances, and an optional add-on solo routine class.
Due to the follower focus in our partnered classes, we are giving leaders a small discount, though we know they will get a lot out of working on their dancing from a follower's perspective. Join us June 6-8, 2025 for the very first June Jam!

We are so excited to have Laura with us this year. Whether dancing with a partner or dancing solo, her unflagging energy and amazing movement have brought her many awards and she has taught all over the world.
Naomi's unique style and grace has won her several awards as a solo dancer as well as with a partner and she has shared her knowledge with dancers worldwide for over 20 years. She also leads her band Naomi & Her Handsome Devils.
Having taught many times with both Laura & of course Naomi, Peter will be assisting both Laura and Naomi during the partnered classes. He has won a bunch of stuff and taught for a long time!
On Friday & Saturday our house band will be the Jake Sanders Quintet. In addition to playing for Naomi & her Handsome Devils, Jake has helmed many different bands that have delighted Lindy Hoppers everywhere and will be hand-picking his band for the weekend!
CHECK-IN is only at PNA Hall. Come up the stairs to the check-in desk, and get you weekend wristband and any merch that you may have purchased. Check in opens at 5:30pm on Friday night and 10:30am Saturday morning.
DANCE PASSES are still available and we will have door tickets available for the Friday and Saturday night dances ($20).
AUDITIONS will be at 11am on Satuday at PNA Hall. If you would like to take the Advanced level classes you MUST attend our audition (please don’t be late). If you are fine with Int-Adv level, once you have checked in, you can go straight to class in the Gym at 12 noon .

Frequently Asked Questions
There will be two levels at the event - an Int/Adv level and a Advanced level. Attendees who want to be in the higher level are welcome to attend the audition Saturday morning at 11am. We will place people in the best groups for them based on their Solo Jazz AND partnered dancing. Each student will have only 1 level for the weekend.
Both leaders and followers will take ALL of the classes, Solo Jazz and Lindy Hop. The partnered classes will focus on the follower's role but the leaders presence will be required. We think it will also be very enlightening for the leaders to hear so distinctly from the followers' perspectives, but in any case YES leaders should plan to take ALL of the classes!
If the pass you are registering for is sold out, you can still register but you will be placed on a waitlist. That means that you will have to wait until someone else cancels and a spot opens up. If a spot does open up, you will be taken off the waitlist and notified via email ASAP. If you get off of the waitlist and into the event, be sure that you are all paid up! If you do not get off of the waitlist by the time the event comes, you will be refunded.
